Finding the right mentorship fit is a crucial step in your entrepreneurial journey. At Bridge for Billions, we've designed a thorough matching process that ensures both mentors and entrepreneurs have the opportunity to connect, get to know each other, and select the best fit for their needs. Here's a step-by-step guide to the Bridge for Billions matching process:
Step 1: Explore Available Projects
Mentors, you kickstart the matching process by exploring the available projects on our platform. Take your time to review the project details, including the entrepreneur's biography and the project's information. This step allows you to get a sense of the various entrepreneurial ventures and their goals.
Step 2: Send Invitations
Once you've identified projects that align with your expertise and interests, it's time to take action. Send invitations to the projects (entrepreneurs) you're interested in working with. These invitations serve as an initial opportunity to introduce yourself, express your interest, and ask any additional questions you may have.
We recommend sending a minimum of 2-3 invitations to increase your chances of finding the perfect match. This step allows mentors to engage with multiple projects and entrepreneurs, increasing the likelihood of finding a compatible partnership.
Step 3: Time to Meet
Entrepreneurs who accept your invitation will coordinate with you via email to schedule an initial meeting. During this phase, you'll have the chance to get to know each other better, discuss your expectations, and determine if your collaboration would be a good fit.
The initial meeting can take place using the platform's provided link for video calls or through any other preferred communication method. It's an opportunity for both mentors and entrepreneurs to assess compatibility and alignment.
Step 4: Rank in Order of Preference
After meeting with potential candidates, both mentors and entrepreneurs will need to rank them in order of preference. This step allows you to prioritize your top choices based on the connections and insights gained during your meetings. Each party should submit their final rankings before the end of the matching phase via the platform.
Step 5: Sign Matching Agreement
Once the rankings are submitted, the matching process begins. If both mentors and entrepreneurs have ranked each other as top choices, they will be matched and receive an email to accept the mentorship agreement. This agreement formalizes the mentorship relationship and outlines expectations for both parties.
After accepting the mentorship agreement, both mentors and entrepreneurs gain access to our incubation program, setting the stage for a collaborative and productive journey.
